Bonjour,

2 possibilities: back-up or code Jun 27, 2013

Hello,
I have encountered that problem when my computer gets turned off in the middle of working in Trados Studio. Since Trados did not close and save properly, it gets confused.

If your Trados session didn't get turned off abruptly, then you may be able to save it as a back-up under a different name. You can also try to save it in the destination format (for ex. word) so you can always import it later. Perhaps you did manage to save all the info in the TM? In that case, you can force the session to close, then re-open with the last version of the TM. Check the date and time on the TM to see when the last SAVE happened.
Otherwise, you need to go into the code. Open the actual .XLIFF in notepad, for example and go to the end. You will find that there is always an Open and later on a Close tag. When you find the Open tag that has no Close associated with it, you can delete it. There may be several, so look carefully. At that point you can save the file and reopen Studio and the translation will appeared up to the point where it crashed.
I hope this helps.
