I need to install an audio driver on my PC, an Advent T9508, but I don't want to have to pay for it!

Many thanks for any help provided

Why not follow the manufacturers manual? Aug 11, 2008

You should have got a manual with your PC - and also a CD with drivers.
You could use those or go and search for an updated driver on the Internet.
However, when searching you need to know what kind of audio device is your PC equipped with.
As far my research goes, this should be a VIA HDA VT1708 Audio (http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/pc/t9508.htm). If this fits, than you can download the driver here. Go to support, chose drivers and set your parameter.
