Dear colleagues,

Can anybody tell me how to translate five files with the same name but different extensions - *.doc, *do@, d#1, d#8, d#9? They seem to be Interleaf. Some of the files have four associated files with extensions, some of them five. Thanks!

Interleaf Ascii Jul 9, 2003

Hello,

Interleaf provides 2 file formats: Interleaf binary and Interleaf Ascii. The main file is the doc file or ildoc for interleaf 7.

Both file formats have the same suffix.

So you can open interleaf and change the file format and resave the files.

If you don't have Interleaf, you can try to convert the interelaf files with the Trados S-Tagger Interleaf.

If you get an error, you can ask your client to send the files in Interleaf
