Is anyone else experiencing difficulties accessing their Gmail accounts?
I use Google Apps for my email, and it has not been working since one hour ago and my normal Gmail account is not working either. The browser just keeps loading and loading endlessly. I use Firefox and also tried to open my email with IE, but still nothing. I am getting a bit scared...

Yes, both me and my housemate cannot access Gmail atm. Going by the error message, their servers are broken, but hopefully a big company such as google will have it back up and running soon. Don't despair!

I was just wondering the same....
I've been experiencing difficulties since more or less one hour, from both PCs...
I'm afraid, you're not alone
The error message is:
**502 Server error:
The server encountered a temporary errir and could not complete your request***
Let's hope the problem could be solved....

Meanwhile POP3/SMTP works perfectly. This is how I learned that the web-based part is down.

Hi,
I'm also experiencing the same problem. My data are "temporarily unavailable".
Fortunately, this is not my main email account. That one is working just fine.
Anyway, I hope it doesn't take to long to solve the problem.

Yeah, totally down, and it's the only email account I'm using these days. Anyone know if there's any way to pick up emails even with the Webmail down ? For instance, by configuring Thunderbird to pick them up???

You can configure gmail to download the messages to thunderbird, but unfortunately you have to gmail to configure it in the first place! Doh!
