First of all, I hope I am in the right place to post this. Secondly, I hope it hasn't been posted before, In the first case, I am sure some kind moderator will re-post in the right section. In the second case, I am sure I'll be told soon enough.

I note that my computer is prompting me to download and install Vista SP2. Has anyone already done this, and if so, any major issues I should know about? It's a fair size, about 360MB or so.

It's just fine May 27, 2009

Go ahead and install it; I did so yesterday. No problems at all, everything is running smooth. And, after installation, if you don't plan reverting back to SP1, press Windows+R to bring up the Run... window, type compcln.exe, and it will erase all unnecessary components of previous updates, so you can reclaim some hard disk space.

Thanks for that, May 28, 2009

Epameinondas. For anyone else who's interested (seemingly not, but there you go), here is some more lowdown:

You need SP1 before you can install SP2 (that's logical...) but I cannot revert to SP1 any more, as I recently did "reclaim some hard disk space
