Hello, I have the standard Office 2007 package, and yesterday my keyboard spacebar just stopped working in Word only, including Wordfast. IT WORKS IN ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS. I have tried all the usual, switching off/on, saving differently, pressing lots of keys etc, but no joy - in any Word document, it simply doesn't work. I AM MANAGING TO SPACE BY PRESSING SHIFT + SPACE), but this is not a definitive solution. Have I inadvertently pressed a key to cause... Sounds really strange. The fact that it does work with other apps, sounds to me like the keyboard may be fine. This is then a software or driver issue. You mentioned switching off/on, but have you rebooted? To make double sure, turn your pc off, leave it sit for 30 seconds, then turn it back on (this is more likely to remove RAM cobwebs). If that fails to change anything: Try unplugging the keyboard, and putting it back. Try plugging in a different keyboar... See more Sounds really strange. If everything points to the keyboard, clean underneath the space bar. HTH, Frank ▲ Collapse

Thanks so far for your contributions. It is a desktop PC, I've had it for about 2 years, and I've never had problems of any nature with it before.
