Intelliwebsearch has suddenly stopped working, I think it may be related to the fact that I upgraded to firefox 3.6.21 this morning?

I can select search terms, and the search box pops up with my personalized search settings. The field is blank if I have selected text from the internet, but works when I select from a .doc for example. When I hit enter, no internet searches are performed and the search box disappears. My local dictionaries still work though, which leads me to believe it's related to Firefox.

Has anyone else had this problem? How can I downgrade Firefox, or is there some other solution?

I don't think it's related to your current version of Firefox, but you can find older versions at and

I'm using IWS with Firefox 7.0 and have no problems.

What happens if you tell IWS to use another browser, eg. Chrome?

Rather mysteriously - after yet another reboot. Thanks for the suggestions!
