How to type Persian digits

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to type Persian digits with a non-Persian keyboard.

I installed Persian font and I have no problem typing text in Persian. However, for some reason I still cannot type digits in Persian eventhough my input language is set to Persian.

Not at all sure how you can type text in Persian without a Persian keyboard (layout), but anyway maybe these web references are of use.

Open settings then control panel and then regional and language, there select Farsi (then press customize) and at bellow section under location headings select Iran then press apply. As well as there is one options in word software tools/ language) that can help you to type Arabic characters which enable you to type Persian digits.

You should just type the English digits (when the windows language is Persian). If you still see them in English, you should go to tools-- options -- Complex Scripts -- in the column for Numerals you have four choices: Arabic, Hindi, Context and System. If you choose Hindi, then the digits will change into Persian. If in new Windows you cannot find Complex Scripts, then try to find Numerals (Numbers) under another option (maybe under Edit).

First, you must install Farsi support on your Windos XP from the Control Panel.
