Hi,

A client has asked me to translate a document in wiki format. Are there any tools that do this easily?

Thanks in advance,
Tal

I'm not aware of any tools for wiki format specifically, but I'm aware that the OmegaT crowd have been doing such translations using OmegaT for some time now. OmegaT doesn't "natively" work with wiki format, but I'm sure some of them might be able to point you in the right direction.

For me, I'd do wiki format in Wordfast. The wiki format is not very complex and I would translate it in the same way as a person might translate HTML in notepad.

Wiki text may also contain some HTML, so perhaps if your tool is capable of marking up the HTML in a non-HTML document, you can go far (Wordfast should be able to do this, although I've never tried it).
