Hi,

I have to do a large translation. The first part was done in TagEditor and now I have built a large TM. The problem is, that the next part is to be done in Passolo and I find myself retranslating the same sentences as in TagEditor (6.5), but Passolo (6.0.05) does not recognize them.

What can I do that Passolo will use the existing translation units from the TM?

Thank you.

Configure the Trados add-on Oct 16, 2007

In Passolo:
Tools menu, Add-ins

Select the Trados add-in, then click Setup. Configure the memory.

During translation, you can search with Ctrl+F8 and Shift+F8, as I remember.
The Output/Translation pane will display the matches from the glossary and the Trados TM, you can insert them in the translation field with a duble-click.

Why don't you just export the Tageditor TM into .tmx and then create a brand new TM in Passolo, import into there your Tageditor's TM?

Just an idea, anyway...

HTH!

Cristina
