Ein Soldat, der zum Tode verurteilt wurde, wartete in seiner Zelle. Einige Stunden vor der Hinrichtung kam endlich die 'tödliche' Nachricht!

Wartet nicht, hinrichten !

Die Nachricht hätte aber sein sollen :

Wartet, nicht hinrichten !

Meine Deutschlehrerin hat uns in der Volkschule an Hand dieses Beispiels erklärt, warum die richtige Zeichensetzung sogar Leben retten kann!
