Trados/Falsche Darstellung von ä, ü, ö und ß

Ich verwende Trados Freelance 6.5. Von meinem Kunden bekomme ich das TM als Textdatei geschickt. Wenn ich die Datei importiere, erscheinen nachher bei den Matches seltsame Zeichen, wo normalerweise die Buchstaben ä, ü, ö oder ß stehen sollten. Ich muss dann alles manuell ändern, was zwar klappt, aber doch aufwendig ist. Was kann ich tun? Vielen Dank!

Hi,

Sorry to answer you in English, but unfortunately, my German is not in great shape.
Is your TM in text format? If yes, it is the ASCII or Unicode one? If the format is other than ASCII, open your TM with Notepad and save in that format, then import it again.

Einfach die Text Datei mit dem Editor aufmachen und dann Speichern unter:

Dateiname: Gleich

Dateityp: Txt

Codierung: UTF-8

Leider sind die Zeichen immer noch im TM, nachdem ich die Textdatei als UTF8 gespeichert habe ...
