I am new to the translation field and am hoping to find someone to act like a mentor. I am pretty much just looking for someone to offer advice when I have questions and occasionally look over work that I have done. If anyone is interested please let me know. Thank you.

ATA Mentoring Program Aug 8, 2008

Hi Alison,

The American Translators Association (ATA) offers a mentoring program that might work for you. Apparently, mentees have to attend a workshop at the ATA Annual Conference, which is going to take place in Orlando this fall (http://atanet.org/conf/2008/), in order to be granted access to the online directory of ATA mentors.

Visit these links for more information:

Good luck in your endeavor.

Renate
