Hi everyone,

I'm a Russian-to-English translator, new to this site. (A great resource, by the way.)

I've been a translator for the past fifteen years, mostly in social services, business, and law. I'm very keen to get into literary translation as well, as I'm a novelist in my other life. I've put out some initial feelers to publishers here in the UK who specialize in translations. I wonder if the hive-mind here might have some other suggestions.

Thanks very much!

Regards,
Lauren Butler

Hi Lauren,

I think you are not getting any replies to this post because the topic has been hashed and re-hashed, even very recently. I would suggest you search the forums under 'literary' or 'publishing' and you are bound to come up with many discussions on these topics.
