Yep. And in other places. Companies tend to outsource their translation in their own country of business, and in Fvdamme's case (as in mine), that means the UK (US/Canada/Australia) and Germany (etc). I rarely get marketing jobs from Dutch agencies or companies.
As for other software, the practical things that Gitte mentioned are the ones I am looking for in the first place
How middle of the road can you get? Marketing guys (M/F) will not be impressed.

Concentrate on quality and professionalism -- timely delivery, professional attitude towards clients, ethics. Try to find good places to advertise. Design an interesting site -- professional but not the boring kind many outsourcers have to look like big corporation. Make some connections through social sites, prior clients, friends to get jobs directly.
