Pro Bono opportunity, Posting this on behalf of MESA
=============================================================

On behalf of the Committee on Academic Freedom, the MESA Secretariat is putting out a call for volunteers willing to translate at least one CAF letter a year. The Committee wishes to make its letters more accessible to people in the region through dissemination in regional newspapers, websites, etc. MESA members with native-speaker capability and comfortable with translation into Middle Eastern languages are invited to forward their names to caf@mesana.org.

We are in greatest need of translation expertise into Arabic, Turkish and Persian, but would be grateful for volunteers who can work in Hebrew and other regional languages as well.

For examples of the format and content of our letters please consult our list of interventions: http://www.mesa.arizona.edu/committees/academic-freedom/intervention/index.html

For more general information about CAF, please see the CAF website: http://www.mesa.arizona.edu/committees/academic-freedom/index.html
