Some of our Mac users want to translate Windows-based CAT file formats, such as TTX/SDLXLIFF files. In noraml situation, you can translate Windows-based TTX/SDLXLIFF, XLIFF generated from Déjà Vu X 2 and MemoQ, Wordfast TXML files.

We take TTX/SDLXLIFF files as an example:

1. First create a project in Heartsome 8.0 quickly, select File > New > Project.
2. After you enter the project name, you can skip all rest steps.
3. Once created a project, you can drag and drop the Trados TTX/SDLXLIFF files to the Source folder in Heartsome Project panel.
4. Right click the Source folder or selected Trados TTX/SDLXLIFF files, then select Convert to XLIFF Files. These files will be converted into HSXLIFF files.
5. Translate the files as usual.
6. When you get work done, you can right click the XLIFF folder or selected HSXLIFF files, and then select Convert to Target Files. This will convert HSXLIFF files to Trados TTX/SDLXLIFF files.
7. Drag and drop or copy the finished Trados TTX/SDLXLIFF files from the Target folder to you driver. Deliver these files to your customer as usual.
