I am trying to import a simple, 200-entries TMX into HSI. And I can't. Because of the message above. Trados can import it. MemoQ can import it. But not HSI.

I mean, shouldn't such an expensive CAT tool be able to do a simple TM import?

Known bug Nov 5, 2013

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next version late this month. Before that, please try the following workaround:
1. Backup your TMX file.
2. Open the TMX file with text editor, e.g. EmEditor on Windows or TextWrangler on Mac.
3. Delete
encoding="utf-16"

from the first line
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>

After editing, it should look like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>

4. Save the changes and then reimport the edited TMX file.
