Hi fellow translators,

I am, not for the first time, stuck on a translation with tons of fitness exercise names that have a very specific meaning, and I haven't found any reliable resource for these terms yet.

Examples:

Split stance with bilateral push
Mid rotations
Reverse bridge hip raise
Static squat

I am finding it extremely difficult to get a reliable translation for this type of term, and think that other translators might benefit of this as well.

Thank you all in advance,
Nico

P.S. just found this site that offers a description of the exercise in German, plus the corresponding English term:

Thanks Jul 3, 2012

Thanks a lot to both of you!

By cross-referencing all these sources I should be able to find what I need. They also helped me to the insight that when in doubt using the English or a slightly Denglish term will likely be understood...

Thanks again,
Nico
