Dear colleagues!

Those of you who live in Ireland could maybe tell me, what is the most affordable supplier of gprs-mobile connection in Ireland. My son is going to spend half a year there and wants to connect his lap-top to the internet. Now he does it via mobile phone, which connects to the usb-port. But his current service supplier has no roaming partner in Ireland.
I visited the site of Vodaphone in Ireland, but could find no information about pricing (preferably a monthly flat rate or some pricing for 100 Mb data transfer).
Does anyone have a pricelist?
Regards
Heinrich

Heinrich, I used this service when I was in Ireland, but don't know if it's what you need:-)

Another one is called O2, http://web.o2.ie/personal/

And Vodafone, that's it I think.

HTH:-)

Seem rather expensive Feb 25, 2005

Currently we enjoy a flatrate of 20 Euros per month with unlimited data transfer. I had believed these services would be cheap in the UK and Ireland compared to Finland.
