Hi everyone

I am looking for comments from experienced interpreters about what help you would have liked when you began interpreting, such as:

Training Requirements: practical experience in a courtroom/hospital
Help with DPSI fees and training
Help with preparation for exams
Finding exams in your languages
Any cost implications

What would you like to see happen in the industry. BE HONEST!

Please feel free to comment on any issues you may have as we want to improve and help interpreters.

Thank you for reading this and please let me know what you think. You can also email me directly on
