I know that the uni itself has a good reputation, but I'm curious specifically about how their translation and interpreting courses are, if they're strong with European languages, etc.

I've applied to similar MAs in T&I at UK universities as well (Salford, Heriot-Watt, Westminster, Surrey, Bath) but since they begin in September, I don't expect to hear back from them before my deadline to accept or decline my UNSW offer (14 Dec), so I'm trying to get all the information that I can on UNSW for the time being.

If money were no object --no matter what I do, this is going to be expensive, so I'm giving more weight to the quality and recognition of the programs-- which would be the better course of action? Would this MA be taken seriously enough in Europe/the Americas? Or would it be better to hold out and hope to get accepted to one of the MAs in the UK?

Much appreciated!
