The latest issue of the South African Translators' Institute (SATI) journal, Muratho, is devoted to interpreting.

The journal (volume 4 number 1) contains the following three articles about interpreting:

1. Simultaneous interpreting: A guide
by Joyce Trocki
A handy guide for clients as well as would-be interpreters

2. Conference interpreting: A practitioner's viewpoint
by Silvia Pratten
Various comments on the local situation

3. Sign Language interpreting in South Africa
by François Deysel
Brief intro on sign language interpreting plus client guidelines.

Unfortunately SATI does not publish Muratho on the web, but if you're interested in receiving a copy of this issue you can try to reach the editor, Marion Boers.

[Disclaimer: I'm not an official SATI spokesperson.]
