Are you a recent graduate of an interpreter training program? Looking for help getting ready to take an accreditation exam with one of the large national or international interpreting services? Or are you a seasoned interpreter trying to up your game? Hoping to improve an existing language pair or to add a new one?

You may want to know about the Professeional Development Series at Glendon College (part of York University, in Toronto, Canada) taking place this summer. From August 6 to 10, we will be running a course for new interpreters seeking to enter the job market. A second week-long course, from August 13 to 17, will focus on the needs of established professionals.

During both weeks, participants will receive three hours of practice and instruction each morning, take part in seminars of interest to interpreters in the afternoon, and join outings into Toronto's cultural communities in the evening. We can provide (student-style) accommodation and meals for a modest fee, or we can recommend nearby quality hotels.

Our instructors are all expert interpreters with decades of experience at the United Nations, the Government of Canada, and the pan-American institutions. In addition, they have all distinguished themselves as teachers and trainers.
