check the ITI site Aug 9, 2004

Hi Wenke,

Here's a link to the "Recommended model general terms of business for commissioned translation work" from the ITI site: http://www.iti.org.uk/pdfs/newPDF/19FHModelGeneralTerms.pdf

As the site works with frames, to check on the other useful documents go here http://www.iti.org.uk and follow the link to "Publications"

Hope this helps,
Grace.

also looking for more specifics Aug 10, 2004

Thanks for your help Grace.

I would also be looking for some more specific pointers specifically for interpreting assignments (like hours, minimum hours worked, travel time, overtime, cancellation etc.) combined in a sample document.

Having been referred to the AIIC, I wonder whether there is other information available.

Kind regards

Have a look under www.aiic.net. It's illegal to post rates (DG IV Brussels, FTC USA decisions. If you are not a qualified interpreter, you might wish to train, also contact aiic, they have a list of recognised training establishments.
