Hello
I'm not an interpreter, but was told by a family friend that the Metro newspaper here in the UK was running a large advert for new freelance interpreters, I checked their website http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutus/workingforind/centralinterpretersunit/
and there's a list of languages they normally recruit for here

May be of interest in main forum for speakers of less common languages...
