Hello everyone!
I am looking for downloadable audio texts in English and French to practice simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
Do you know any sites where I can find such material?
Thank you in advance!

bye

Tania

Look for podcasts in BBC or ABC Radio National.

But if you can get hold of a recording software (I'm happy with Total Recorder) Radio UN has a lot interesting but demanding audios --since they follow the news format.

There are speeches sites. (Among others the White House if you can bear with them)

Thanks a lot Marco, very useful information.
Could you mention other speech sites on top of the White House site?
Unfortunately, I rarely work as a conference interpreter so it is important for me to "keep in shape" by practising at home.
Thank you in advance.

Try this: http://ceuweb.belbone.be/index.php?lang=EN&sessionno

I love to switch between all the languages available and it's a real fun to practice interpreting by using this website - try it!

Regards,
Aleksandra
