Hi!

I am currently doing my PhD on simultaneous interpreting and in one of the parts I have to mention all the interpreting courses which are currently offered in Spain.

I know some of them, such as the Masters in La Laguna (Tenerife), Vic (Catalonia) and Cluny (Madrid) but as the syllabuses are changing in order to adapt to the European Framework, I would like to know if you know any other course.

Thanks a lot!

Madrid and Barcelona Aug 13, 2007

The offer in Madrid is wider than just Cluny: the Universidad Pontificia Comillas offers undergrad level studies, and it has offered a Masters degree in Conference Interpreting at some point, though I don't know if it is still available.

Also, the Universidad Europea de Madrid also provides interpreting studies, though I don't know what level.

As for Barcelona, I am pretty sure that the Pompeu i Fabra offers interpreting training.

Good luck!
Paula

There are three options, one of them is interpreting and specialised translation.
I've just finished my degree in translation and interpreting at the UPF and I can tell you that interpreting teachers have a very good reputation.
The admission process is still open!

Good luck!

David
