Ciao a tutti! Qualcuno saprebbe indicarmi un sito dove sono elencate con chiarezza le unità di misura "ufficialmente approvate" (SI, UNI, ISO o quant'altro) in Italia per l'informatica?

Per esempio: MB o Mbyte? KB o kbyte? O magari Kb, kByte, Mb e MByte?

Dato che nessuno ha ancora risposto, mi permetto di fare dei semplici commenti.
Il "byte" è l'abbreviazione di "binary term" e le sue abbreviazioni "b" o "B" mi sembrano scorrette se pur usate.
In merito poi ai multipli o si scrivono per intero (vedi sotto) oppure si fa uso delle abbreviazioni previste dalle norme ISO 1000, che prevedono:
k = (kilo) = 1000
M = (mega) = 1000000
G = (giga) = 1000000000
T = (tera) = 1000000000000

MB sono Mega Byte = 2^20 Byte = 2^20*8 bit
Mb sono Mega bit = 2^20 bit

Quindi semmai la domanda è MB o MByte? La risposta è vedi tu, è uguale, basta che non dici che Mb = MByte.

1Byte = 8 bit
1Kb = 2^10 bit
1Mb = 2^20 bit
1Gb = 2^30 bit

se hai una ADSL 640 quelli sono Kb, non KB, quindi puoi scaricare al massimo a 640Kb/8 = 80 KB (o KByte, scrivilo come ti pare, basta che non mi dici sche scarichi a 640 KB)
