Hello
I would just like to thank all of you who helped me out in the last week or two re legal queries regarding patents involving pharmaceutical products/drugs...
Just recently I have been translating material related to patents (first time) and this has proved a bit of a headache; the thing is I may well be asked to do more in the future. I hope to have "grasped" some of the legal terminology in these documents now, but I am sure I will be posting more queries at a later date.
I always enjoy helping out other translators with medical queries, but this legal stuff is something entirely different, isn't it?
Although I should only be translating the technical stuff in these patents, the odd legal phrase is bound to be left in for me to translate!
Thanks again.
Liz Askew

Hi. I've found this link to be useful many times. You can search for patent texts. The full text of patents is not always available, but most of the time an extract is.
Good luck.
