Let’s assume, for the sake of this hypothesis, that a proz member, owns a similar web site (i.e. a translation community) and when a kudoz question is posted in proz, then he/she provides the answer in his/her own web site and then makes sure that somehow the proz asker finds out about it.

What would be the official proz policy to this?

You mean, the asker who has exhausted all other resources and, because time is running, decides to ask colleagues in the KudoZ forum will be solicited privately to look up another website, probably he/she will have to sign up or something, to be allowed to look at the answer?

Sounds more like Easter egg hunt.

I'd block this sender from my email.
