How do you hide a KudoZ question you've made?
Sometimes the answer is there in front of you but you don't realise that till you've actually posted the question!

Squashing May 27, 2004

Hi Lina

We call that "Squashing". Moderators and members with more than a certain amount of KudoZ are able to squash a question, but this is usually used for
- repeated questions (when the asker sent it twice)
- questions that do not respect the KudoZ rules

In the particular case when the asker wants to squash his own question and can't do it himself and there has been no answer yet, he can contact the moderator of that pair (or any moderator if he's not available) to do the request.
The last condition (no answer yet) is written nowhere, but if you ask me to squash a question that has already been answered, I would find it unfair for those who answered.
So the best advice will be after all...think very well before sending the question, and then be ready to give points even if the answer comes to your mind as soon as sending the question.

I see that it's your first posting, Welcome to ProZ.com!

Claudia
