How do I add information to my original question?

I just asked a question a couple of hours and got a couple of interesting answers but both people in their replies asked me for more information.
I would really like to answer them, but the only choices I have are to grade or close the question.
What can I do?

Underneath the question (in the standard version, Asker's page) I can see some little white buttons Jul 3, 2004

one of them says "add note", and that's the one that does it.
Is that button visible on your screen?

Hi Lesley Jul 3, 2004

Go to the KudoZ tab (upper menu), My KudoZ, Asked, chose the question and you should read, under your question
"Want to add a note? Title:"
Put a title and then add whatever you want.

The problem that you have must be due to the link that you're using (ready to grade).

delete all information after the question number.

I find it irritating, too, that I can't add anything when I go to the question after having received an answer.

Thanks Jul 3, 2004

Thanks everyone, that is strange, that is the first time I've ever had that problem.
But now it's solved, much appreciated.
