How can I close an unanswered question in Kudoz? ('Click grade, then "close w/o grading"')

I posted a question in Kudoz and, after seven days without any answer and having finished the job I needed it for, I'd like to close it but have no idea how. Any suggestion?

Close without grading Jun 8, 2005

Click on the 'Grade' button, then click on the 'Close without grading' button. Voila.

P.S. Sorry, let me make that more clear: on your question page, click the 'Grade' button. That will take you to the next page, where you should click the 'Close without grading' button. HTH.

I must be blind... Jun 8, 2005

I must be blind. I have the same problem, but when I look at the page of my question, there is no "Grade" button available.

Here is the question: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1040844

Sorry to hijack this message, but I'm really wonderingicon_smile.gif

Thanks!

You need at least one answer to close your question without grading Jun 8, 2005

I don't know why so, but, technically, there must be at least one answer for the option "Close without grading" to appear.

Thanks!

I guess all I need to find now is someone to answer "something"icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, this is what we do in Eng<>Rus pair :) Jun 8, 2005

It happened before in our pair and we helped askers to close questions without grading by giving an "empty" answer. Another way is to squash the question, but it's worse choice because the information (like in this question of yours) will be lost. With "close without grading" it's still available for kudoZ search (or as a glossary entry).
