Hello!

Could someone please tell me what the "Float: ON / OFF" button means? And why mine is always on "ON" - not that it matters since I don't know what it's for!

And while I'm asking questions, what does the RSS logo on the right of the forum pages mean?

Sorry if these questions look ludicrous - but I really haven't got a clue.

Thanks in advance!

PS - I don't know whether this is on-topic or off-topic. So I'm not touching anything!

Try clicking on the ON or the OFF button, and you will see what happens

Float ON removes surrounding page elements Sep 22, 2005

Hi Philippe,

When you turn Float ON, the surrounding elements of the page (i.e. ProZ.com menus on top and on the left-hand side, just as they appear on this forum page) will disappear so that only the question and its answers are shown. Occupies less space on the screen whilst sparing you some scrolling.

Steffen
