Just received two emails regarding
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1176317
within less than a minute of each other. The first said "Congratulations!" The second said "Answer declined". According to the current state of this page, the first one appears to be correct.

The other one Nov 11, 2005

Hello Jack,

It appears that the other answer was declined, not yours.

Thanks, Claudia Nov 11, 2005

Apologies for ever starting this thread. I should have worked it out for myself in the first place.

Please, don't apologize Nov 11, 2005

I didn't mean that you should not have posted your surprise in the forums, as you see, it took several of us to understand that there was really a glitch and that your answer had been both, accepted and declined.

I just meant that now that we know for sure what happened, the only ones who can do something are the programmers.

Regards

Claudia

So there really was a problem after all? Nov 11, 2005

I thought I had just missed the note to the other answerer's reply. But I suppose the "declined" email should only have gone to him, not to me. Anyway, as you say, maybe it is just as well I did post the topic after all.

Hi Jack Nov 11, 2005

The glitch seemingly was only in the newest version where your answer has been both accepted and declinedicon_smile.gif

In the V3 version your answer looks like accepted only.

I was using V3 Nov 11, 2005

Thank you both for your explanations.

I've now looked at it in the Beta version, so now I can see what the problem is.

Uh oh Nov 11, 2005

I haven't felt the need to switch to the newer version. Sorry for diverting the discussion!

But honestly, is it any better than the old one?
