But I mean if after doing all these, you find peer agreement to go the other way with another translator. What I meant is understanding the term ... your approach and that of the other peer(s). I meant after doing all what you did (and what is expected to be done), then finding out that you have misunderstood the whole matter. It is like saying to yourself: "What's wrong with me? Have I lost my abilities to translate?" You know you have given me a hint of a new choice.

Good topic for the polls! | Jul 10, 2006 |
Why don't you suggest a poll? It is a very good topic indeed. BTW, no 1-5 for me. Well, some time, perhaps...I felt sort of embarrassed. Claudia
I double check, just in case, and if I am sure MY answer is correct, I keep it (is that 3?) I suggest you place a poll on this. It might me interesting, I believe. My approach to KudoZ | Jul 10, 2006 |
I try to contribute to making the Kudoz system as useful as possible to pros, by applying the following principles, except in "borderline" cases: 1. If (IMO) a non-pro questions is posted as pro, it gets a "non-pro vote" (and the other way round). 2. If (IMO) there is not enough context, and this happens too often, I ask asker for more info before answering. 3. I do not post an answer if (IMO) there is already a good one, (and I give it an agree). ...
