Glad to hear I won't be roaming around in Oxford, wondering whether there are other ProZ members roaming around too!
So, at least that is two of us. Let us find a pub to meet and maybe we will end up with a crowd of Prozees.
Does anybody know of a good pub or/and a nearby eating place? I will be searching too.

Here is a list of practical information:
1) There is a separate bar at Browns where we can meet before sitting down for the meal. I suggest that we meet in the bar at 7pm. When you arrive please let them know you are in the proz.com party.
2) We can pay for the meal in small groups (3-5 people). When you sit down at the table decide who you are going to split the bill with BEFORE ordering any food or drink in the restaurant. Then let the waiter know who is in your group.
3) It would make it easier if you paid by cash rather than credit card (or one credit card per group). So, bring enough banknotes and coins to cover the cost of your meal and drinks (check out the menu at http://www.browns-restaurants.com/location_pg/loc_ox.html to get an idea of the cost).

The table is booked for 7.30pm (this is the latest time they can accept bookings on Friday). They get very busy on Friday evenings and are unable to hold the table for us if we are late, so please arrive on time.
After dinner the plan is to go to the pub across the road, The Royal Oak (around 9.30pm-ish), so if you would like to meet up with us later you are more than welcome. There are several rooms in the pub, so I suggest we meet up in the largest one, which is the first one on the right as you go in through the entrance.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with English licensing laws, pubs stop serving at 11pm.

I'm glad to hear we'll be a group meeting up on Friday and I think 8 o'clock would be a good time, as was suggested here. I don't know my way around Oxford at all, so it would be great if someone who knows the town a bit could suggest a venue somewhere central.
I'll go to the UK on Wednesday to visit friends first and won't be online much after that, so it would be great if Francis could organise a list of those who'll be joining us (and perhaps confirm our reservation at the venue ...
