The second Forum "Sochi 2014: Translating the Games" to be held on 7-8 December in Sochi, Russia
Thread poster: Agnesha

The Organizing Committee of the XXII Olympic Winter Games will stage a second Forum (the last year one attracted over 500 participants) dedicated to the problems of servicing and preparation of the 2014 winter Games. The issues to concern will range from lessons learned from the previous Games to the way the linguistic services will be organized this time, and much more. The list of speakers include representatives of the Organizing Committee, state bodies, IOC experts, translations schools and pressional translators. It looks like worth seeing!

It sounds interesting Nov 26, 2012

It sounds very interesting. It's too bad I don't live closer or I would definitely be going to this conference. Considering that I recently returned from Translation Forum Russia I will not be able to attend this conference in Sochi.

I hope there will be some reports on the Internet about this conference.
