Please check http://www.atanet.org/pd/finance/

May make it too - as I also live quite close. Depends on if they have any Japanese things scheduled (often they don't!)

I am not even sure about ATA itself... Jan 31, 2005

Having not yet become fully convinced that ATA membership will bring me benefts equal to or exceeding the dues (being that they do not offer C>E certification, only E>C), I don't know.

If I decide to join the ATA I'll go.

From the Conference Organizer... Jan 31, 2005

Thanks for posting this Laura.

I'm the Conference Organizer and am looking forward to seeing many of you there. If you want an idea of the program, you can see what we did in 2001... http://www.atanet.org/NYConference/2001/ (I organized that one also). More information will be posted on this year's program as it's finalized, but there probably won't be much on sessions until I make

Thanks for posting this Laura.

I'm the Conference Organizer and am looking forward to seeing many of you there. If you want an idea of the program, you can see what we did in 2001... http://www.atanet.org/NYConference/2001/ (I organized that one also). More information will be posted on this year's program as it's finalized, but there probably won't be much on sessions until I make final decisions in March.

Language-specific sessions offered will depend on two things: Early Bird Registration (fees fully refundable if your language pair is not offered, although there will be lots of non-language specific sessions also, so it should be worth your while to attend anyway) and availability of speakers.

Please don't send me general questions about the conference... HQ paid staff handles those (I'm an unpaid volunteer), but please do send any suggestions you have for excellent speakers who can provide advanced-level language-specific financial translation sessions.

See you in April!!!!
