Starting 19 January 2016 at 11:30 GMT, with part 2 on 26 January. How can a professional translator specialize in Veterinary translation? Well, one very good way is to become a Veterinary Surgeon and work as such for a number of years, but then again, that might take a bit too long!
The next best thing is to acquire some basic veterinary knowledge and build it up from there.
Iolanda Casacuberta is a qualified vet and a translator, so who better to take us through an introduction to Veterinary Medicine for translators? The course will teach you some notions of Anatomy, Physiology, Animal Behaviour, Surgery, Animal Husbandry, and more.
All sessions are recorded so if you miss the live session, you will be able to view the recording later.
For full details and to purchase your place on this course (places are limited and starting to go fast!) visit this link: https://www.ecpdwebinars.co.uk/downloads/veterinary-medicine-for-translators/

I enjoy e-books since I can access to extra explanation on specific topic via YouTube etc. This is less tedious if compared with [paid] online sessions. The reason is that, I learn and master only specific elements for my consecutive translation jobs. Google search also gives helpful YouTube accesses on veterinary medicine.
Now e-books can also automatically read the contents for us via PDF readers or text-to-speech software.
