Dear community,

Yesterday, fellow member Zbyněk Táborský and I launched the 2nd Edition of our 1,000,000 Miles Challenge and we are hoping you will join in!

For every individual, it's about motivation to move and have fun doing something good for themselves. For the community of participants, it means raising awareness for our profession by means of sports and a healthy lifestyle: Two things we have in common with people from all walks of life, including potential clients.icon_wink.gif

Read more about the challenge here: https://theopenmic.co/have-you-heard-of-the-1000000-miles-challenge/

Hope you have a great week,
Tanya

Hi Heinrich,

It's only a hashtag. And if you do want to participate, the page where you enter your progress has a converter.icon_smile.gif

One millimeter is not much of a challenge May 3, 2016

Hi Tanya,

The title of this posting is confusing. Perhaps you could change 1 mm to "1 million miles" to make it clear for those of us for whom running 1 mm is not that challenging.

Private link May 4, 2016

Hi Fiona,

After you singed up, you should have received an email with your private link. You can click that at any time to update your information and your miles. If not, check your spam folder, add our email address to your address book. Still no luck? Perhaps you had a typo in your email when you signed up. In which case: Send a quick email to 1mm@the-translators.com.

We are doing this project in our spare time, so any feedback regarding usability is quite valuable and will be taken into consideration.

Best regards,
Tanya
