Advanced Training Programme for Translators in the Banking and
Financial Fields

Take three days off from your hectic schedule to hone your financial
and banking translation skills in beautiful lakeside surroundings at
the foot of the Alps: ASTTI, the Swiss Association of Translators,
Terminologists and Interpreters, invites you to attend its "Summer
University", an advanced training programme for financial and
banking translators, to be held in Spiez (www.abzspiez.ch), near
Bern, from 11 to 13 July 2007.

In the morning, in plenary meetings, specialised conferences in
French, German or English will bring you up to date on Basel II,
derivatives, hedge funds and other financial themes; in the
afternoon, you can apply your new knowledge in small groups, with
the help of practical examples, in your own language combination.

Target languages: French, German, English and Italian.

The following experts have already agreed to speak:
Robin Bonthrone, Francesco Cesari, Chris Durban, João Esteves-
Ferreira, Deborah Fry, Markus Greiss, David Jemielity, Dominique
Jonkers, Mathias Löliger and Carl Sennett.

To receive the announcement and registration form by e-mail, contact astti@astti.ch and have your name added to the distribution list. The complete programme and registration form will be online at www.astti.ch at the end of March.
Registration by e-mail to: astti@astti.ch astti@astti.ch.
