Hi

I am looking for court interpreters who are willing to share their experiences regarding their job. Is there anyone here who could spare some time for me? Thank you.

Regards,
Anna

What exactly do you want to know? Jul 7, 2012

It's a demanding job and you need to know some vocabulary, like the charges, names of courts, types of sentences....I would advise you to go to a court by yourself and talk to the usher and see if he accepts you to stay in the public area inside the court and maybe also take some notes of words that are usually used there...You can ask the usher about what cases he has that day, maybe you get the chance to observe different types of hearings.
