Very nice, I enjoyed it very much. Jun 3, 2009

Dear colleagues,

I would like to share with you my new comic strip. It tells the misadventures of a young translator called Mox. Two PhDs, six languages... and he hardly earns the minimum wage.

Almost all "adventures" are based on mistakes I made over the last decade. The result is a strip full of clichés. However, I hope you will enjoy it.

You may find the strip at:

Constructive criticism is welcome!

Gracias Jun 3, 2009

You made my day! Jun 4, 2009

So true, so true... I sent it to my non-translator husband who will likely relate to Mox's girl friend. Keep them coming...

Soooooo funny! Jun 9, 2009

Love the cartoon Alejandro, muchas gracias, very generous of you to take time to share your wit and talent for the good of translators everywhere!

I think my favourite is Calvo's non-literal "interpretation" of the sales blah blah...tho' hard to choose....

Hope you get time to keep creating Mox stories.

A plot, I hope.. Jun 9, 2009

The interpretor could be a worm, the CEO would cut the worm in two and turn it into two languages. Then in four and so on. Until they finally decide to put the hundreds of pieces in a mixer and drink the interpretor. One of them would then burp a giga bit.
