"This is an opportunity!"

"No, no, no I'm not asking you...to work...for free...."

I don't often hear "Dude..." Jun 9, 2009

But I often see job offers promising loads more work provided you lower your rate! Yay, where do I sign up?icon_razz.gif

Thanks for this!!

Wonderful Jun 16, 2009

I laughed so hard when a friend sent me this one in an email that I somehow missed your thread about the video Rosanna and made my own oneicon_redface.gif

It really is a wonderful example of what many translators have to deal with, isn't it? I especially love the "show us how you made it, so we can do it on our own, in-house" line. Well, at least they didn't bring a frozen dinner to a restaurant and asked the chef to proof-cook it, right?icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks, too! Jun 16, 2009

Rossana, I just finally watched this videoclip and immediately decided to post a link/comment about it in my blog, so thanks for sharing.

Quite handy as a reference whenever we may be in any "negotiation" phase of a job/project.
