... someone asks for your telephone number and you begin "www..."

... when you are writing something by hand and think of clicking "Del" or "Backspace" when you make a mistake.

When you reach behind you for your seat belt to strap yourself in for the 50,000 mile word-journey.

When... Oct 14, 2009

...your hand tries to reach out for the mouse in random places, like at a cafe or the kitchen.

...your brain can't process the fact that some people are not on Twitter.

...if you have to contact someone, you think email not phone.

Thank you for starting this post Paul.

autumn Oct 14, 2009

You suddenly realize that Autumn has come when on rare occasions you get out of your house wearing your sleeveless and see everyelse has already put on their thick jackets.

Oops! Oct 14, 2009

...you make a mistake and mentally try to hit Ctrl+Z.

My husband and I actually say it aloud to one another to "cancel" a mistake.

Haha, Amy, you're like my mother and I - to say goodbye in person or on the phone we say "À + !" (À plus !, short for À plus tard !, French for See you later!), the common way, around here anyway, to sign off an email.

... and the last moments before you go to sleep, you see yourself typing your thoughts on an imaginary keyboard...
