I know it's wrong but I couldn't help but thinking as I read this, "Well, at least he wasn't a translator..."

Imagine if it did happen to a translator, it would be terrible!

I would enjoy reading Oliver Sacks on such a case, I'm sure he would have an interesting take on it.
