Cyberspace has a number of mistakes. Human judgment is required. We need not totally depend on electronics.
They also maintain a number of jokes as well.

Here's a company with 72 freelance linguists around the world that charges $100,000 for one word.

Aside Mar 11, 2016

Reminds me of an anecdote about George Bernard Shaw. In an interview he claimed that he has earned one pound for every word he has written in his life. A reader of the interview sent him a money order for one pound and requested him to write back a word in return.

Can you guess what word old Bernard wrote him back?

.

The word "Thanks"!!!!

But, if the reader had preserved the letter containing this one word, it would now have fetched him several million pounds from art collectors!

Next time an agency asks me to proofread/correct a translation, I'm going to tell them I charge $800 per hour for proofreading.

I'm already in paradise, visiting Thailandicon_smile.gif

(P.S. I didn't get to claim the job, which no doubt contained a mistake by the PM)

A good example Mar 13, 2016

Next time someone offers you USD 0.05/word just send this one to them, asking them to adjust their rate "just a little".icon_biggrin.gif
