Few years ago a friend of mine proof-read a English-Czech translation of the Lonely Planet guide of Egypt. He was an Arabist and his job was to check whether all Arabic names are properly transcribed in Czech. Thanks to his hairsplitting attitude he also proofread the English-Czech translation and besides others he found out that in one of the Coptic churches the clergy made a fund-raising campaign for body organ donation.
